Event regulation
Following the regulations is of paramount importance for the successful outcome of every event organized by Driftclub.gr therefore please read them carefully. For details or further guide lines regarding the regulations please contact us at info@driftclub.gr (info@driftclub.gr)
Code of conduct
Drivers and their team should behave decorously in the track and in the pit area promoting the ‘’Amelia noble’’ and the fair play.
Every entry would be given an extra pass for one support vehicle, two passes for team mechanics and four invitations for the event.
The pit spaces for the entrants would be predefined from the organizer , in case an entrant prefer to be appointed next to another entrant he should notify the organizer seven days prior the event date.
Technical inspection
Technical inspection would take place before the event starts in order tocompliance with the following, and the sound operation of the car!
Categories of participants
1. Pro
2. Street legal
The difference lies in the technical limitations of the car, and the way of scoring guides to the drivers. Essentially, the category Street legal refers to cars very close to factory standards, while the Pro has many freedoms and few restrictions on the evolution of the car.
Conditions for participation

Drivers on both categories (Pro & Street Legal) should be equipped with the following safety equipment
1. Driver suit FIA approved
2. Gloves racing FIA approved
3. Racing Balaklava
4. Full face helmet or FIA approved

The cars

1 Pro class
the Pro class cars must have the following in order to participate in Drift Wars
a. Bucket FIA approved
b. four-point harness FIA approved
c. FIA approved fire extinguisher
d. General power switch
e. Engine in factory position
f. Tank fumes in the engine bay
g. Battery well secured if it is within the cabin to be closed
h. Fully functioning brakes and all lights of the car.
i. May change the tank, as long as the new tank is FIA approved and properly mounted

2 Street legal

In street legal class, the car should have the standard engine mentioned in the car’s license, any modification that would alter the cubic capacity of the (engine capacity) or change the engine as indicated in the car license is prohibited.

The cars with normal aspirated engine remain N/A. Any other modification in N/A cars such as intake and exhaust system is allowed.
The cars with forced induction system engines e.g. (turbo, super charger) cannot change their forced induction system e.g.(turbo, super charger) other than the factory standard of their car , while other modifications are allowed

The interior of the car must remain factory and be complete with upholstery and seating. Change seats with bucket are allowed. In suspension, the modifications are free as long as the philosophy and support of the manufacturer doesn’t alter.
Any aid in rigidity and safety improvements such as mounting a roll cage (without the existence of it necessary).
Regarding appearance and aerodynamics, body kit and the use of carbon front hood is allowed .any other modifications on doors, windows and car panels are prohibited,
also a FIA approved fire extinguisher situated in a position accessible to the driver is required.

Main event:
The event consists of three main parts.
In the 1st part is the technical inspection, the ‘’get to know’’ between the drivers and the briefing from the organizer.
In the 2nd part drivers make 3 qualifying runs which they will be judged and scored. Their best run with the highest score is the one that depending on their score will place them in the best 16 for the pro and the best 8 for the street legal.
In the 3rd and last main part of the 16 Pro ‘’fights’’ otherwise known as Tsuiso battles begins.
These battles will be in couples in the following way: the 1st to the 16th, the 2nd to the 15th, the 3rd to the 14th and so forth. In the end, we grown the most spectacular driver of the event and will share the points for drivers. At the end of the year, the driver that has collected the most points is the winner of Drift Wars.
In Street legal, the best 8 passes in a single style 1st-8th, 2nd to 7th and so on, but the drivers run are single. The better of 2 runs proceeds to the next stage until emergence of the most spectacular driver.

Assessors
The judges will be three and will be marked with the help of radar and if the track requires, additional spotter will be placed in the ‘’blind’’ spots for greater accuracy of the scoring passes.

The scoring criteria are as follows:

1. Speed of entry in the first turn!
The speed of entry is easily monitored with a radar speed gun. Speed plays a major role for the judges, because the degree of difficulty grows as the speed increases, Drift and reactions should be much more instantaneous and there will also determine the flow that will be followed to the rest of the track until the run finishes.
2. Drift line!
Another thing that the judges are looking at how good drift line can the driver take. High scores can be achieved when the front part of the car is very near the apex of the turn while the rear side of the car is on the outside line! This will show the capabilities of the driver to monitor the progress of the car alongside the drifting and will give some points!

3. Drift angle!
The drift angle is defined by degrees that the car ‘’takes’’ in relation to the flow of the track. This means that as the tail of the car is in great angle (without losing control) takes the more points a driver.

4. Show!
Although the judges score the drivers with the above criteria, presentation can be very important as well! Things like extreme and mass production of smoke from the rear tires or even the high end horsepower that will attract the attention of the judges. On the other, which also can grab their attention, are the driving skills when a driver with a weak car will manage to follow more closely a stronger car.

5. Factors operating in negative rating!
If a driver in his official run turns the car in its length (spin) then his run automatically disqualified and gets zero points! Fainting for no obvious reasons in the straight is a good reason to lose some points! Even a momentary under steer of the car which will spoil the flow of drift can and will cost the driver serious points. The latter should be particularly emphasized, since drift which begins after the apex of a turn doesn’t get any points what so ever. The further from the apex the car is sideways, the higher rating will seconded. The correct run should have a maximum angle before the clipping point. So you'll notice that the first violent entries are many times made with the use of the E-brake.
All these are the criteria for getting the results for the qualifying passes made by each driver individually and scored on a scale from 0 to 100!
Tsuiso battles
Tsuiso battles are the Japanese word for the term "battle one to one ". In these battles every couple makes two runs. A total of 10 points are awarded between the two cars. So in each run can have scores of 10-0 to 5-5. At first the car sits in front and the same goes second in the second run! If the points after the drivers are the same, the judges refer to "Sudden Death", in that case there would be another set of runs (2) to define the winner!

Car in attack!
In battles with the couples, the attacker is a car that follows the car in front! The aim of the car is to cause the front to get a dead zone and pressure him. He must follow very closely drifting constantly, passing over the correct lines and clipping points. It should, if possible, to control the flow of the car against the front and not affected by a possible error and to "steal" as many points.

Car in defense!
When a driver is in front Tsuiso battles, the ideal strategy is to drift in the highest possible speed, maintain the ideal line and have larger angles from the attacking. The aim is to depart and to obtain driving example of the aggressor with great speed or sudden violent entries in the turns or making much smoke in order the driver behind to lose and to follow the wrong line!

SOS - overtake and collisions!
If the aggressor driver managed and find opening and overtake, then must be completed clearly trying not to touch (that is liable to collision) or to give room for the other driver to the reintroduced. If the driver is not sure about overtaking it is preferable to hold back because otherwise it will lose all their points. This will happen in the event of any conflict. He who loses is the one that causes the change of course of the other, since the other driver has a clear line and not guilty of wrong! The aggressor should be able to manage the power his car so as not to conflict with the front and changed course. The defender if going too slowly on the turn or makes a driver error that causes lost of flow and force the aggressor to collide with him then he disqualifies and gets zero points immediately!

Points
After each event the score is as follows: 20 points corresponding to the first and will be reduced by 2 for each standing below (2nd 18, 3rd 16 ... 10th 2). From positions 11 to 16 everybody gets 1 point. Should someone get 100 in solo, automatically gets 1 extra point.
